FOOTBALL COACHES

Coaching Requirements

NJAYF requires all coaches to complete a number of certifications and trainings. In addition, the background check and waivers found below all need to be signed and turned in.

1. Concussion/Brain injury plan for football and cheer ➢ Coaches should complete the National Alliance for Youth Sports Concussion Training  https://www.nays.org/concussion-training 

2.  ALL Football Coaches (Head and Assistant) MUST complete and pass the courses listed below: Coaching Youth Football - The AYF Way ❖ Visit www.ayfcoaching.com ❖ You Must Print The Completion Certificate and include With Coaches Paperwork at Book Certification.  Please submit reciept for reimbursement to Francesca Martini register.redbankayf@gmail.com

3. National Federation of State High School Associations – Coaches Tackle Course ❖ Visit https://nfhslearn.com/courses/football-tackling  This one if is free.


CHEER COACHES

Coaching Requirements
